
Donna M. Ashton, Esq.
Donna M. Ashton is a founding shareholder of the Winchester law firm Ashton Turner LaGatta, P.C. where she specializes in the representation of large and small property management firms and real estate owners in all of their landlord-tenant related matters including, but not limited to, the development of properties, leasing, and eviction actions. After graduating from Suffolk University Law School in 1996, Ms. Ashton was in civil practice and subsequently worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases in the District and Superior Courts. In 2002 she joined the law firm of Cohen & Fierman in downtown Boston, focusing on landlord tenant related matters. In 2008 she opened her own practice Ashton Law PC, which grew into a premier provider of Landlord Tenant services in both the Housing Courts and District Courts in Massachusetts. For a brief period of time, she was a founding shareholder in AMPS Law P.C. before returning to her Winchester roots.

Attorney Ashton is a faculty member of the National Institute for Trial

Education’s Mock Trial for Housing Court, the instructor for the legal section of
the Massachusetts Apartment Association’s Certified Apartment Manager
Course, and local/Massachusetts counsel for the National Apartment
Association (NAA).
